Here I had made uppu seedai,sweet poha payasam,Vella seedai and Thattai and also Lord Krsihna's favorite Butter :) :) Had a nice darshan too :)
Here I am writing most favorite Sweet poha payasam as below :)

Here I had made uppu seedai,sweet poha payasam,Vella seedai and Thattai and also Lord Krsihna's favorite Butter :) :) Had a nice darshan too :)
Here I am writing most favorite Sweet poha payasam as below :)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Aval or Poha
- 3/4 cup Jaggery (Thick consistency) Filtered
- 1 Tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup Grated coconut
- 1/2 cup Cashew nuts break into pieces
- 1/4 cup Raisins.
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 3 Tsp Ghee
Method:
- Wash the poha/aval well thoroughly,Allow it to soak for atleast 10 minutes.
- Drain it and set aside.
- Take a frying pan,Add ghee into the medium flame,Add broken cashew nuts to it till golden light brown.Turn off the heat.Transfer it into another bowl.
- In the same pan,Add the remaining ghee into the medium flame.Add raisins till it pops up then turn off the heat.
- In the same pan on medium heat,toast the grated coconut till it gets an aromatic.Make sure not to allow to get burnt.just lightly roast it.
- Break the Jaggery into pieces,Add water to it.Allow it to boil till it gets single thread thick consistency
- Filter it to remove any particles/impurities.
- Take a wide pan,Boil the milk, Add the drained poha/aval in the medium flame. Pour the 3/4 cup jaggery and allow it to stir gently till combined well.
- Add cardamom powder and roasted coconut to it.
- Mix well and turn off the heat.
- Add the cashew nut and raisins to it.
- Serve it :)
